Cleaner

Before use

Test on an inconspicuous area first to ensure your fabric is colourfast dyed. Never use a pressure washer to clean fabric covers and canopies.

How to use

1. Remove residual dirt with a clean, dry brush.
2. Dampen surface with sponge or spray mist.
3. Shake bottle well and pour into suitable container.
4. Apply with a clean 5cm (2”) paint brush using even strokes.
5. Start at the centre and work out towards the edge.
6. Leave for 10-20 minutes (up to an hour for heavily soiled surfaces)
7. Scrub with warm water and sponge, cloth, or bristle brush until the cleaner begins to lather, and dirt is being removed easily.
8. Rinse, and repeat if necessary.

Bird droppings and difficult stains

Dab or pour cleaner directly onto stain and work into the affected area. Leave for 30 mins and rinse. Repeat if necessary.

Colour restoration and protection

We recommend using Renovo Boat Canvas Reviver and Renovo Boat Canvas Protector to prolong the life of the newly restored colour. Allow a good 24 hours to dry first.

Reviver

Before use

Before use we recommend using Renovo Boat Canvas Cleaner to thoroughly clean your boat canvas.

Ensure substrate is free of any previously applied water proofing agents.

How to use

Shake bottle, pour into a suitable container, and stir well

Using a 5cm (2”) paint brush, apply to the centre of canvas. Ensure fabric is thoroughly wet and quickly progress towards the edges.

Wipe excess drips from paintwork, trims, and glass with a damp cloth.

When finished, clean brush in warm, soapy water.

Multiple coats

For sun-faded canvas we recommend at least two coats for best results. Ensure Reviver is thoroughly dry before adding second coat. Ensure you have sufficient product for a complete coat before you start.

Drying time

Typically three hours, subject to ambient conditions. Do not take boat out until completely dry.

Colour protection

We recommend using Renovo Boat Canvas Protector to prolong the life of the newly restored colour.

For best results, use every 6 to 12 months.

Before use

We recommend using Renovo Boat Fabric Cleaner first. Test on an inconspicuous area first to ensure your fabric is colourfast dyed.

How to use

1. Remove loose dust and dirt with a dry brush.
2. Pour into a suitable container, and stir well (do not shake bottle first).
3. Using a 5cm (2”) paint brush, apply to the centre of canvas and quickly move towards the edges, ensuring the fabric is thoroughly wet.
4. Wipe excess drips from paintwork, trims, and glass with a damp cloth.
5. Clean brush in warm, soapy water.

Multiple coats

Ensure Protector is thoroughly dry between coats. For best results, ensure you have sufficient product to complete a coat before you start.

Drying time

Typically three hours, subject to ambient conditions. Do not take boat out until completely dry.

Maintenance

For optimal protection we recommend applying every six months.

Not for use on vinyl – use Renovo Boat Vinyl Cleaner.

For best results ensure you follow product label instructions.

Do not apply in direct sunlight or on particularly hot days as this may cause product to dry too quickly resulting in uneven results.

Avoid prolonged contact with skin. We recommend use of protective gloves whilst applying.

Coverage varies subject to age and condition of substrate.

Do not dilute or mix with other products.

Store in a cool place out of direct sunlight. Do not store at a temperature below 0°C (32°F).
